Patient Consent: By providing your mobile phone number to our clinic and opting in to receive text messages, you acknowledge and agree to these Terms and Conditions.

 

Opt-In/Opt-Out: You can opt in or out of receiving text messages from us at any time.

• Opt-In: You can opt in to receive text messages by providing your mobile phone number to our staff and indicating your consent.

• Opt-Out: You can opt out of receiving text messages by:

  • Replying "STOP" to any text message you receive from us.

  • Contact our clinic directly via phone or in person.

Permitted Uses of Text Messaging:

• Appointment Reminders: We may use text messages to send you reminders for upcoming appointments, including date, time, and location information.

• Appointment Confirmations: We may use text messages to confirm your appointments.

• Appointment Rescheduling/Cancellation Notifications: We may use text messages to notify you of appointment rescheduling requests or cancellations.

• Limited Administrative Communications: We may use text messages to communicate about limited administrative matters, such as:

  • Billing reminders (general reminders only, not containing detailed financial information)

  • Appointment availability updates

  • Clinic closures or emergencies

• Marketing and Promotions: With your prior consent, we may use messaging to send you marketing and promotional materials, such as information about new services, special offers, and health events. We may also use messaging screenshots to write testimonials. The written testimonial will be presented to the patient for review and approval before using it in any public forum. For example a screenshot of a text message saying, “I’m feeling great after my session!”

• Surveys and Feedback: We may use messaging to invite you to participate in surveys and solicit your feedback on our services.

• Messaging frequency may vary.

• Message and data rates may apply.

Prohibited Uses of Text Messaging:

• Protected Health Information (PHI): We will not use text messages to transmit any sensitive PHI, including but not limited to:

  • Medication information

  • Detailed medical histories

  • Any other information that could compromise your privacy.

• We will comply with all applicable Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) regulations regarding the use and disclosure of PHI.

• We will take reasonable measures to protect the security and confidentiality of your mobile phone number and any other information we collect through text messaging.

• We will limit access to patient data within our organization to authorized personnel only.

• Be aware that no method of electronic communication is completely secure, and there is always a risk of unauthorized access or interception.
